Placing an Order

Once you have submitted an order form and we have discussed and finalized all the instrument details, I will ask you for a down payment. The default option is a 50% down payment, but the price can be divided into up to 4 installments during the build time, with a 25% down payment instead. A down payment of 25% will secure you a build slot and a reserved top of your selection. Installment schedules are agreed upon individually at the time of order confirmation. You will also get a photoshoot of your guitar when I ask for the final payment.

If for any reason you are unable to complete your payments, all payments made during the build time will be forfeited, as once paid, funds are used to cover work performed and hardware ordered.

Payments

We accept wire transfers or PayPal. Wire transfer details are listed at the bottom of the invoice. Please ask your bank that transfer fees be paid by your end (choosing the OUR option, not SHA). Payments are accepted in USD or JPY. For JPY invoices, the exchange rate is fixed at the time of invoice issuance. If you prefer PayPal, please let me know. A PayPal processing fee will be added to the invoice based on PayPal's official fee schedule — currently 3.6% for domestic (Japan) transactions and 4.1% for international transactions. Please note that fees are subject to change in accordance with PayPal's fee policy. Build process and lead time is 8 to 12 months from the moment the down payment is received.

Cancellation Policy

As each instrument is custom-built to your specifications, orders cannot be cancelled once the build has commenced. Prior to the build start, cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. In such cases, any down payment already made will be forfeited, as it covers administrative and preparation costs incurred up to that point.

Returns & Cooling-Off

All sales are conducted as distance transactions (online / email). Under Japanese law, statutory cooling-off rights do not apply to distance/mail-order sales. As all instruments are made-to-order and built to individual specifications, returns are not accepted unless the instrument has a confirmed manufacturing defect. In the event of such a defect, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the instrument.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.
